How to Set Up Your Westinghouse Roku Smart TV
Follow this complete guide to set up your new TV in less than 15 minutes. It's easier than you think!
What You'll Need
- Your Westinghouse Roku Smart TV
- Your WiFi name and password
- A Roku account (free)
- 10-15 minutes of your time
Unbox and Connect
Carefully remove the TV from the box and place it in its final location (stand or wall)
Connect the power cord to an electrical outlet
Insert batteries into the Roku remote (included)
Turn on the TV using the power button or remote
Select Language and Country
The TV will display the initial setup screen.
Select English or your preferred language
Select your country/region
Connect to WiFi
The TV needs internet to access streaming apps.
Find and select your WiFi network from the list
Enter your password using the on-screen keyboard
Wait for the connection to complete (may take 1-2 minutes)
Tip: If your network doesn't appear, move the router closer to the TV or consider using an Ethernet cable.
Activate Your Roku Account
You'll need a free Roku account to access all features.
The TV will display an activation code on screen
On your phone or computer, visit roku.com/link
Enter the code and create your account (or sign in if you have one)
The TV will automatically update and restart
Download Your Favorite Apps
Almost done! Now personalize your TV with the apps you use most.
